With Mitsubishi Shoji facing Hama Club in the finals, both teams showing no signs of slowing down after playing 3 games in one day. After beating HKAHA Blues and HKAHA Whites respectively in the semi-finals, and Macau Hockey Club and SM Manila team in the pre-liminary rounds, the two teams arrive from Japan move on to face each other and trying to bring the championship back home.
With the leading scorer Toshihiro Ataka leading Mitsubishi Shoji, they took an early lead in the first 20 seconds. Hama tried hard and came close to 3-2, but after a disallowed goal, they collapsed and were down to 6-2 after the first period. Mitsubishi remained merci-less in the last period and once led to 10-2. After scoring on a penalty shot, Hama got close and worked hard to a final score of 10-5. |
