Review of the incident WYOG #71 Brendan Choi who was assessed for

5-mins for Roughing
20-mins for Game Misconduct
 
In relation to the recent incident on 30 May 2021, reports from the referees and video evidence were reviewed. It is noted that #71:-

1Being the instigator of this incident

. Continued to rough the opponent despite referee on ice ordered to stop

The Disciplinary Committee has made the decision to issue an additional 1 game on top of his 1 game automatic suspension pursuant to 3(C) of the Rules. A total of 2 games suspension is given to WYOG #71 Brendan Choi.

Review of the incident Hero #86 Alex Wong who was assessed for
 
20-mins for Game Misconduct
 
In relation to the recent incident on 30 May 2021, reports from the referees and video evidence were reviewed. It is noted that #86 Alex Wong is being involved in an incident after the game and the action of pushing the opponent was unnecessary.
 
The Disciplinary Committee has made the decision of NO additional suspension is warranted and remains 1 game automatic suspension pursuant to 3(C) of the Rules.

Review of the incident WYOG #27 Jayden So

In relation to the recent incident on 30 May 2021, the video evidence were reviewed. It is noted that #27:-

1. Came off the bench and joined in the scrum
2. Being the Sixth men on the ice during the confrontation

No penalty was called on the ice, but after reviewing the video evidence, it showed that the player 
have joined the scrum. The act alone of leaving the players’ bench constitutes a violation of the rules, even if the players do not engage in fighting once they are on the ice.
 
The Disciplinary Committee has made the decision to issue a 1-game suspension.
